This is the first housing manufacturer in Japan to be able to work in the 3D printing industry. The house was built with 20tons of reinforced concrete and high standards of Japanese regulations. The reinforced structure meets the European standards of insulation and the engineers pretty well made sure that it meets the high seismic performance of Japanese standards.

The idea behind the design of the sphere is to provide shelter and support in the affected area, in case of a large scale natural disaster. The creator Masayuki Sono is the winner of the NASA 3D housing challenge 2015. Its swift construction also reduces CO2, waste of building materials, and energy consumption.
