Polymaker introduced Polysonic- A New Innovative 3D Printing Filament for High-Speed FDM Printers
Polymaker, a prominent player in the 3D printing industry, has just introduced its latest line of 3D printing materials, signaling the beginning of a series of filaments designed to cater to the burgeoning high-speed Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printer market.
Polymaker started by young 3D printing enthusiast, who were not happy with the quality of the material. They have introduced latest 3D Printing materials, which can fulfill the burgeoning high-speed Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printer market.
The company boasts of Jam-Free technology which can further add to their strengths. They have introduced Polysonic PLA which is engineered to facilitate 3D Printing at speeds exceeding 300mm per second. Additionally, the polysonic PLA pro has improved toughness, which has the ductility property similar to ABS and better stiffness of ASA and PTEG
The Development of Polymaker’s High-Speed 3D Printing Filament
Polymaker mentioned that this new material is the result of their extensive R&D and customized properties. This material achieved the required performance, precision and mechanical robustness.
Polymaker have also enhanced their volumetric flow extrusion efficiency the company reports that Polysonic gives a better output in terms of performance and increased printing speeds.
Polymaker scientists have done an excellent job at their R&D lab ensuring that the material quickly transforms from molten state to the solid state with minimal shrinkage and improving their rheology.
This makes perfect sense in terms of handling steep overhangs at high flow rates.
Polymaker also claims that there is only 6% reduction in mechanical properties during High-Speed printing, whereas the normal PLA had 24% drop in mechanical properties.
Polymaker has committed to producing high-speed 3D printing without compromising on quality. This is probably due to the company’s intense spending on R&D and is clearly visible in the outcome.
Companies like Polymaker are leading the way in the fast-evolving 3D Printing industry where fast printing is a major goal for innovation and maintaining industry standards.
